Punctual and incredibly tidy
I can highly recommend Kevin! He did our loft hatch, understairs storage and replaced our staircase with lovely oak. He was punctual and incredibly tidy at the end of every day and he is very friendly. Overall a great experience!

Best tradesperson we've had
Kevin recently trimmed our internal doors to fit new flooring heights. Throughout all communications beforehand he was courteous and accommodating of us having to rearrange multiple times. On the day, he turned up on time, was incredibly polite, was careful and protective of our new floors, despite carrying heavy doors one after another, and trimmed the doors with precision.

A really professional job.
Kevin has worked diligently to rectify squeaking floorboards in a number of rooms in our house before new carpets and wooden floors are laid. He has done a really professional job which I am sure he would do on any bespoke carpentry jobs he might undertake. He is very polite, a good time keeper and I would have no hesitation in recommending his services. When he has completed a days work he is meticulous in tidying up before leaving.

Very pleased with the result
Just wanted to write a quick review on Kevin’s recent project, building a wardrobe in my son’s bedroom. It wasn’t an easy task being my son has severe learning problems and lives in a secure residential home. This made accessing and the building of the wardrobe a little more difficult and restricted. Kevin did so well working around all of this and made a great wardrobe from floor to a very high ceiling making use of the area re hanging rails and shelving as requested by us. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend Kevin. He’s hard working, trustworthy and will discuss his work along the way with you to make sure everything is as you want it.

More work later in the year
Kevin is reliable and very competent with his carpentry. He did some very specific and detailed work on window sills and external doors on our very old building. He was punctual and tidy and took care of the surroundings. We are engaging him for more work later in the year.

We will certainly use Hook Carpentry again
Kevin's attention to detail, work ethic and professionalism are excellent. He created cupboards under the stairs, shelving for three alcoves, and an under-the-sink cupboard in our cloakroom. Everything he did was thought through and crafted; cleaning up at the end of each day and always arriving on time.
We now have more than enough storage space and will certainly be using Hook Carpentry’s services in future.
